  • 1 tbsp soft butter

  • 1 tsp (kosher) salt

  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 5 gr dry yeast or 1/2 cube of fresh yeast

  • +_ 300ml of warm water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C or 428°F

  2. To a large bowl, add about 500 grams of brown flour and half a cup of white flour

  3. Add one tablespoon of soft butter, one teaspoon of salt and your chia seed and then mix

  4. In a separate bowl, add your yeast to warm water and mix until the yeast is completely dissolved

  5. Then gradually add your yeast to your flour mixture and kneed until it all comes together and it's not too sticky. You can either kneed by hand or use a stand-mixer

  6. Cover with a damp towel or plastic foil and let it rest for 30 minutes

  7. Divide the dough into two balls and shape them a little

  8. Oil two loaf pans with olive oil and place your dough in each of the pans. Cover with a damp towel or with plastic foil and let it rest for an hour or until it doubles in size

  9. Before baking, sprinkle a little bit of water on top and cut some lines (these lines are just for design)

  10. Bake it in the oven for about 30 minutes (220°C/428°F) or until golden brown

  11. Let it cool completely so it can continue to steam on the inside

Enjoy!
