Blueberry Chocolate Muffin

Get ready to fall in love with the perfect balance of sweet and rich flavours in these blueberry chocolate muffins. Bursting with juicy blueberries and chunks of dark chocolate, they're the ultimate treat for any time of day.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup white flour

  • 8 gr vanilla sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1/2 baking powder

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup of blueberries

OPTIONAL: coconut flakes and crushed nuts for topping


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with 4 paper layers in it or use cupcake molds, butter them and set aside

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, vanilla sugar, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt

  3. In a separate bowl, add your butter (room temperature or melted), milk and mix. Then crack one egg and mix until combined

  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredient mixture to your dry ingredients

  5. Add your chocolate chips and blueberries and mix. You can use as many chocolate chips and/or blueberries as you wish

  6. Divide the batter evenly among the 4 paper liners or cupcake molds

  7. OPTIONAL: decorate the muffins with coconut flakes and crushed nuts

  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the muffin comes out clean

  9. Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool
