One of my onigiri recipes went viral on TikTok, so I had to create some more! Here are three ways to make tuna mayo onigiri.
These are all the ingredients you need:
✿ tuna - I'm using Rio Mare Tuna
✿ rice - I'm using long grain rice
✿ mayo - preferably Japanese mayo, but you can use any you like
✿ sriracha
✿ 1 carrot
✿ 1 small red onion
✿ parsley (+- half a cup)
✿ spring onions (to taste)
✿ pickles
For the rice:
✿ sesame seeds
✿ nigella/black seeds
✿ salt
Tip for the rice: only wash your rice 2-3 times, so it stays starchy (it helps with the stickiness, since medium and long-grain rice aren't sticky like koshihikari sushi rice.
